Welcome to Sellox Marketplace . These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sellox website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using Sellox Marketplace, you (“User,” “Buyer,” or “Seller”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

To use Sellox Marketplace, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

• Provide accurate and complete account information

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2. Account Registration

Users must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and updated information

• Keep your login credentials confidential

• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Sellox is not liable for unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account.

3. Marketplace Role

Sellox Marketplace is a platform that connects buyers and independent sellers.

• We do not own, inspect, or control products sold by sellers.

• Sellers are responsible for product descriptions, pricing, inventory, and shipping.

• Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings before purchase.

Sellox is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers unless explicitly stated.

4. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers agree to:

• Provide accurate product descriptions and pricing

• Deliver purchased items promptly

• Comply with all applicable laws (including consumer protection, tax laws, and prohibited goods regulations)

• Not list counterfeit, illegal, or restricted items

• Respond to customer inquiries professionally

Sellox may suspend or remove any seller who violates our policies.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers agree to:

• Review product details before purchasing

• Provide accurate shipping information

• Use the Platform for lawful purposes only

• Avoid fraudulent disputes or chargebacks

Misuse of the Platform may result in account termination.

6. Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.
By completing a purchase, you authorize Sellox and our payment partners to:

• Process the transaction

• Verify identity or payment sources if required

Sellox does not store full payment card information.

7. Fees and Charges

Sellers may be charged:

• Sales commissions

• Subscription or membership fees

• Advertising or promotional fees

All fees are disclosed in the Seller Dashboard or Fee Schedule.

8. Shipping and Delivery

• Sellers are responsible for shipping timelines, packaging, and delivery accuracy.

• Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.

• Sellox may partner with logistics providers but is not responsible for carrier delays.

9. Returns, Refunds & Disputes

Sellox offers a Buyer Protection Policy for eligible purchases.
A buyer may request a return or refund if:

• The item is not received

• The item arrives damaged or significantly different from the description

Disputes will be handled between Seller, Buyer, and Sellox support.
Sellox’s final decision on a dispute is binding.

10. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Engage in fraud, harassment, or illegal activities

• Sell counterfeit or restricted items

• Interfere with the Platform’s functionality

• Scrape, copy, or misuse Platform content

• Circumvent Sellox fees or transact outside the Platform

Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including trademarks, logos, text, images, and software, is owned by Sellox or licensed to us.
Users may not reproduce or distribute Platform content without written permission.

12. Privacy

Sellox collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data as outlined in that policy.

13. Platform Availability

Sellox may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
We are not liable for downtime, errors, or service interruptions.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sellox Marketplace is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:

• Seller performance or product quality

• Accuracy of listings

• Continuous or error-free operation

Users assume all risks associated with their use of the Platform.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Sellox is not liable for:

• Lost profits

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Losses resulting from buyer/seller disputes

• Damages caused by third-party services

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid to Sellox in the past 12 months.

16. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Sellox harmless from claims arising from:

• Violations of these Terms

• Misuse of the Platform

• Infringement of third-party rights

• Buyer-seller transaction issues

17. Termination

Sellox may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violating Terms or policies

• Fraudulent or harmful behavior

• Legal or regulatory concerns

Users may request account deletion at any time.

18. Changes to Terms

Sellox may modify these Terms at any time.
We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lagos, Nigeria.
Disputes will be resolved through arbitration or courts in Lagos, unless required otherwise by law.
